Fishing Charters
I like to catch fish. If you are looking for specific fish, then I will gladly cater our trip towards that fish, but I am the captain who wants to unhook huge numbers of fish, any kind of fish, and share in the excitement of seeing something new.
Shark Fishing
I love to catch sharks, there is nothing like catching 6’ to 8’ and even bigger sharks in shallow water on fairly light tackle.
We can do day or night trips and we often keep a shark or 2 as they are fantastic to eat.

Night Bow Fishing and Gigging
This is day/night in the Gulf or night only in freshwater. Mullet, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Gar, Stingray, Catfish are the most common fish taken in the Gulf and Gar, Bowfin, Suckers, Tilapia, Sailfin Catfish (Plecos), Shad, and Bullhead are the most common.
Daytime Bow Fishing Charters
Day trips are only in the Gulf, I don't do daytime freshwater currently. Mullet, Sheepshead, Black drum, Longnose Gar, and the wonderful tasting Stingray are plentiful and offer a target rich environment.
Alligator Hunts
Preseason application planning to full-service hunt guiding, I can help you harvest and transport your alligator! This is an amazing adventure across central Florida. If you drew a tag and are looking for help, give me a call.
Scalloping
July 1 to Sept. 24, 2026, season. 2 gallons of whole scallops per person and 10-gallon boat limit.

As an extremely accomplished outdoorsman I know what it takes to harvest world class fish and animals: the focus, the hours and the details.
I rod/reel fish from a fully loaded DX22 tunnel hull, 22' boat. New electronics, trolling motors, power-poles and lithium batteries help ensure a full day of trouble-free fishing while staying dry and very comfortable. This boat is ideally set up for the shallow water fishing I specialize in.
I bowfish/gigging from a Sea Ark 2072 FXT Deluxe boat. The raised shooting platform is my preferred system for better visibility and the tunnel hull with shallow water pick-ups allow us to get into the skinny creeks and flats. I use a troller style of boat to be able to slowly finesse my way around the keys or current breaks allowing multiple shots or new archers a better chance at a shot on fish. Bowfishing is an obsession for me, so I have taken every possible option into account when trying to set up a boat to provide for the best all-around experience.
Florida has many different methods of harvest or enjoyment of the aquatic life in our area. We can use traditional rods and reels, throw nets, baited traps, spears, gigs and bow/arrow. Each type of fish has its own rules, but I will ensure we stay in compliance with FWC rules. I enjoy all methods of harvest as well as catch and release fishing, day or night, we can find an adventure to fit your desires..

Our time together should be about you, your desires and at your pace. Everyone should be treated like family, and the time you set aside for your adventure is limited, special and should be cared about. Capt Matt Yamilkoski has based his entire life on serving the needs or wants of others and that has poured over into Yami Outdoors. As an extremely accomplished outdoorsman Matt knows what it takes to harvest world class fish and animals; the focus, the hours and the details. He also understands that most people live in the journey, the adventure of every moment, not just the results or the end game of the efforts.
The experience of time on the water should be about catching fish, as many fish as possible, but it should also be about the comforts of a smooth ride, new tackle, and a comfortable seat for the adventure!
If your desire is a sunset on the Gulf of Mexico from among the mangrove keys while quietly drifting and watching the sea turtles, we can do that. If you’re a run and gun fisherman who just wants to pound fish, crabs or scallops, and doesn't really care about comfortable seats and someone baiting your hook, we can do that too. Yami Outdoors offers a unique experience, a fresh perspective on the adventures of the Gulf of Mexico, and an intensity to do things many haven’t even tried yet! Yami Outdoors offers experiences on the Gulf of Mexico in the popular Homosassa River and Crystal River area.Yami Outdoors caters to you and your desired level of comfort and service.
