I fish from a fully loaded, 2023 Flats Cat boat, the 21’ guide series with a 150hp Mercury outboard. I have dual 12” Simrad electronics, 1 running Florida Marine tracks GPS for the most accurate location and tracking and 1 with side and down imaging for structure and fish locating.  Why fish holes or cuts if there isn’t fish in them?

A quick scan of the area can save precious time and make your trip more eventful.  I use Minn Kota trolling motors and Raptor anchor systems for precise control of the boat.  This boat is specially built and equipped to get in and out of the very shallow waters that will be encountered on most charters.  Running 40 mph in under 4” of water will surprise most passengers and certainly adds to the trip.   This boat provides for a more comfortable ride than the flat bottom boats most anglers are used to traveling in, it's the dual hull design that forces air and water between and underneath to rise up and run smooth.

There are boats as shallow, but none as quiet, smooth, or dry.  Flats Cats boats are built in Port O'Connor Texas and test rides are available for potential customers of theirs.  I don’t sell their boats, I just catch fish from them!
