Finding Spring Tarpon

This week I’ve been focused on finding spring tarpon. The trout have moved out with the temps rising, the redfish fishing has been excellent and the snook have been spread out but really active, so I turned my attention to Tarpon. 7 bites in under 7 hours isn’t bad, but as usual, getting Tarpon to the boat is physically demanding, tackle breaking, heart challenging event! I use dual 12″ Simrads to locate fish and put my baits in the best possible position to get a strike. Side images like this keeps you focused and excited!
